KOTA SAMARAHAN: Malaysian Armed Forces First Division teamed up with Sarawak General Hospital (SGH) today to hold a blood donation programme.

“As a result, 110 bags of blood were successfully collected for the hospital,” said the division in a statement issued today.

The programme, organised by the First Medical Battalion, took place at the multipurpose hall of the Muara Tuang Camp from 8am to 2pm. The blood donors were soldiers.

“The Malaysian Armed Forces is always ready to assist the Ministry of Health to help solve the blood shortages faced by hospitals,” added the statement.
