SERIAN INTERNATIONAL BIKE WEEK 2020

KUCHING: Thousands of bikers from Sarawak, Sabah, Malaya, Brunei as well as Indonesia are expected to throng Serian on April 3 to 5 for the 2nd Serian International Bike Week 2020.

Held with the purpose to gather and strengthen the bond between bikers, this second edition of the Serian International Bike Week will feature many exciting activities – to make it more eventful and entertaining for the bikers and visitors to Serian.

“We expect over 60,000 visitors including local and foreign tourists to attend the three-day event.

“Apart from that, this year’s programme will also highlight a new event – the Ladies International Bike Week – which is open to single and married women.

“As we expect huge crowds thronging the event, therefore, I advise visitors who wish to stay overnight, to book their hotel (or homestay) in advance, as all hotels and lodging will be fully booked during the event,” said its organising chairman Shafwan Mahri in a statement yesterday.

There will be other events including the Miss Serian Bike Week 2020 competition, motorbike stunt show, singing performances, ‘sukaneka’, sale of local food as well as local handicraft exhibition.
