KUCHING: Second Finance Minister Datuk Seri Wong Soon Koh has already tendered his resignation from his State Cabinet posts.

This was confirmed by the Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Abang Johari Tun Openg following his last meeting with Wong, who is also International Trade and E-Commerce Minister.

“Yes, he has tendered his resignation, and he is on leave first,” he told reporters when met after the launch of the Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS) for Zone 4B branch at Balai Tayung Langui, Pichin, Serian, yesterday.

When asked when the Parti Sarawak Bersatu (PSB) president would officially leave office, Abang Johari said, “He would go after his leave”.

“He still has outstanding leave, I forgot until when… I think up to August,” he added.

However, he did not reveal that he was tendering his resignation from his ministerial posts and when he would leave the office.
