MIRI: A dolphin measuring 234cm weighing around 100kg to 150kg was found dead on Tanjong Lobang beach here yesterday.
The discovery was made around 5pm by members of the public who were in the area. They later alerted the authority.
It is believed that the dolphin was from the spinner dolphin species, usually found in offshore tropical waters around the world.
According to sources, the dolphin might have gotten itself entangled in fishing nets prior to the discovery.
