#SkuadKebaikanMILO is now on Shopee.

KUCHING: Milo® has once again deployed its #SkuadKebaikanMILO which aims to encourage fellow Malaysians to spread goodness and support communities that are in need during the fasting month of Ramadan.

Maria Murni Nur Azmi

Consumer Marketing Manager of Milo® Nestlé (Malaysia) Berhad Maria Murni Nur Azmi, in a statement, said that the pandemic is not stopping fellow Malaysians from doing good to the society.

“As such, we are bringing back #SquadKebaikanMILO so that Malaysians can continue to help one another more easily while staying safe.

“#SquadKebaikanMILO offers Malaysians a safe and convenient way to give back to the community during these challenging times,” she said.

Maria also said that they were partnering up with Shopee for the second year and Milo® aimed to build the #SkuadKebaikanMILO platform it established last year as well as rally Malaysians to make their charitable contribution towards providing nourishment to those in need.

“Through #SkuadKebaikanMILO, Malaysians have the option to purchase any of the four Milo® goodness bundle packs containing Milo® powder and other Nestlé products priced at RM25, RM55, RM95 and RM155 each.

“All bundles purchased will be donated equally to seven charity organisations serving B40 communities, old folk, single mothers and orphans. On top of the bundle packs, for every one unit of participating Milo® products purchased from the Nestlé Online Store on Shopee Malaysia, RM1 worth of selected Nestlé products will be contributed to the listed beneficiaries,” she added.

The seven charity organisations are Human Aid Selangor, Kuching Food Aid, The Lost Food Project, Malaysian Relief Aid, Food Aid Foundation and Yayasan Persona, as well as selected residents of Pangsapuri Sri Tanjung, USJ 16 in Subang Jaya, Selangor through a partnership with Astro.

Maria pointed out that last year’s campaign drew an overwhelmingly positive response from Malaysians.

“We are grateful for the support and deeply heartened by not only the contribution our fellow Malaysians made but the appreciation that they shared for our role in enabling a giving online community.

“This year, as we recognise the perseverance and resilience of our communities in rebuilding their lives, we want to keep #SkuadKebaikanMILO going so that by providing those in need the nourishment for everyday energy, we can go even further stronger, together,” she added.

Aznil Nawawi or fondly known as Pak Nil

Multi-hyphenate entertainer Datuk Aznil Nawawi, fondly known as Pak Nil, is joining #SkuadKebaikanMILO again this year.

“His support began last year after reaching out to a family who had fallen on hard times due to the pandemic and could not afford Milo® for the children.

“Using his personal platform to spread goodness in the month of Ramadan, Pak Nil helps to collect donations online, all of which he will use to purchase the goodness bundle packs that he himself will then deliver to the community,” she said.

Members of the public are encouraged to join #SkuadKebaikanMILO and do their parts in spreading the goodness during this Ramadan as the campaign duration is from April 5 until May 10.
