MIRI: December is the season to be jolly, and Hwai En Methodist Church joins the festive air with their upcoming Christmas Carnival at Miri Taman Bulatan Park this Sunday, from 4.30pm to 6pm.
The carnival provides six interesting station games for visitors and passers-by to indulge themselves in this joyous celebration of Christmas.
Admission into the carnival is free and the first 100 visitors will receive a special gift once they have completed all the games.
A registration counter will be set up near the water fountain at the park.
Those registered will be issued a game card and they are eligible to join the games.
Organising chairperson Wong Kung Kong said the event aims to encourage Mirians to celebrate this joyous season together with the church.
“The carnival is open to all and I hope everyone can take this opportunity to have fun and spread love with their families and the people around them,” he said.
