KUCHING: The Youth Entrepreneurs Programme (PUM) 2022 organised by the Companies Commission of Malaysia (SSM) aims to develop and explain the importance of business registration to students who plan to venture into entrepreneurship.

Kuching Polytechnic director Hikmatullah Hajid Ahmad Khan said through such a programme, students will also be able to learn about preparations before entering the business world.

“With that, we can polish the skills and confidence of students who are interested in entrepreneurship.

“Moreover, it is in line with the institution’s mission to produce quality graduates with holistic entrepreneurial characteristics while increasing the employability of students when they graduate,” he said.

He said this during his opening remarks during the PUM22 at Politeknik Kuching on Saturday (Sept 10).

He reiterated that the initiative of the programme is to produce quality human capital in the world of entrepreneurship in the future.

“This programme by SSM is one of its efforts to produce more entrepreneurs among graduates.
