MUKAH: St. Faustina Futsal team of Sts Peter and Paul Church is the winner in the men’s category of the just concluded Sts Peter and Paul futsal competition, over the weekend.
Good Shepherd FT of St Thomas Chapel from Kampung Teh Mukah came in second in the competition which was held in conjunction with Mukah Parish Fiesta 2017.
Third place went to Our Lady of Fatima FT from Our Lady of Fatima Chapel of Kampung Teh Labak Mukah.
In the women’s category, the winner is St Anthony FT from St Anthony Chapel of Kampung Tellian Mukah.
First and second runners up respectively, went to St. Josephine FT of St Joseph Chapel of Kampung Sesok Baru Mukah and MYCA FT from Sts Peter and Paul Church.
Tellian assemblyman Yussibnosh Balo and church rector Rev. Fr Joseph Sebastian presented prizes to the winners.
Nine teams took part in the men’s category and three in women’s category.
