SERIAN: Some 230 people attended St Theresa’s Parish Pastoral Council (STPPC) dinner recently to celebrate the priestly ordination anniversary of three priests.
The priests were Rector Fr Paul Herry, who has been in service for 16 years, Fr Arockyaraj or fondly known as Fr Raj (17 years) and Fr Leonard Yap (10 years).
STPPC chairman Dennis Sung expressed his gratitude to all three for their services to St Theresa and the chapels under the parish.
The priests, in their speeches later, thanked everyone for their love and care.
“You have all enabled us to perform our duties smoothly and efficiently.”
On another note, Fr Paul talked about Bung Mako as a pilgrimage centre and for pilgrimage worship for the faithful.
