KUCHING: A stable government is needed in the country in view of the widely expected inflationary pressures next year.
A stable government is therefore important for the future well-being of the country, said GPS Petra Jaya candidate, Datuk Seri Fadillah Yusof.
“Our country is going through a financial crisis and the call made by our caretaker Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob to dissolve the parliament was the right one,” he said.
He said this when officiating at the Persatuan Kebangsaan Melayu Sarawak (PKMS) Cawangan Astana Majlis Hi Tea dan Kesyukuran here on yesterday (Nov 12).
The ceremony also saw the presentation of donations to 30 orphans, single mothers and senior citizens.
Among those present was President of PKMS, Wan Ali Tuanku Mahdi and Acting Chairman for the Istana Branch, Sahmat Materang.
