KUCHING: The recent acquisition of SeDidik by the Welfare, Community Wellbeing, Women, Family and Childhood Development Ministry will standardise the staff’s salaries.

Its minister Datuk Seri Fatimah Abdullah pointed out that the salaries of SeDidik’s staff would be standardised according to the Public Service Department’s standards.

“Starting Jan 1 next year, their salaries will be paid in proportion to grade N.

“Based on the new scheme, the staff will benefit from the allowance provided, identical to the benefits received by civil servants,” she said during the SeDidik Excellence Award Ceremony held at a local hotel here on Monday.

Fatimah also revealed that the SeDidik board of directors had approved the incentive to be provided to all SeDidik staff.

The incentive would be a month’s salary or a minimum of RM1,500.

Fatimah hoped the standardisation of salaries and incentives would motivate the staff to continue improving and maintaining the quality of SeDidik.
