SONG: Team Starlite emerged champions of 2nd Song Closed Futsal 2017 after defeating Team Ta Ann and Hariwood 2-0.

In a match that took place at the Futsal 1 Malaysia, team Ta Ann and Hariwood had to satisfy in the second place, Selibut FC in third place and Pendidik FC in fourth place.

Meanwhile, Rico Baling from team Starlite received the Best Player Award.
The closing ceremony and presentation of prizes to the winning team was officiated by the Song District Administrative Officer, Laga Kueh.

All winning teams received prizes in the form of cash, trophies and medals.

A total of 14 teams comprising more than 150 players who were mostly civil servants and youths in the Song district took part in the competition organised by Song Futsal Club.

The objective of the competition was to encourage young people to be active in sports, especially futsal, besides improving the standard of the game among the players here.
