KUCHING: The Sarawak State Library (Pustaka) Integrity Day 2020 will be held tomorrow from 10am till 11.30pm.
The event, themed ‘Integriti Dalam Dunia Digital (Integrity in the Digital World)’, will be broadcast virtually through Zoom webinar and Pustaka’s official Facebook page.
In this regard, the programme is part of the various contents planned by Pustaka to commemorate the library’s 20th anniversary.
“The celebration aims to provide exposure related to integrity specifically to the staff of Pustaka as well as civil servants in performing their duties and responsibilities.
“The objectives of this event is to obtain expert views on integrity issues throughout the movement control order (MCO), to provide exposure and awareness related to integrity in civil service, and to strengthen the culture and implementation of integrity in carrying out duties as civil servants,” it said in a statement on Tuesday (Aug 4).
According to Pustaka, the Integrity In Digital World forum will be moderated by two panellists namely Malaysian Multimedia Communications Commission (MCMC) Sarawak head of office Adiman Ajem and Integrity and Ombudsman Unit of the Chief Minister’s Department investigating officer Zulhairy Zaidel.
“The theme was chosen because many online transactions were done by civil servants since the implementation of the MCO.
“Among the topics that will be discussed include virtual meeting management, implementation of working from home, online purchase and payment transactions.
“All Sarawak state civil servants are invited to participate and admission is free,” it added.
