KUCHING: The Sarawak Disaster Management Committee (SDMC) reported 15 Covid-19 fatalities in the state between Sept 17 and 22.
Three of the fatalities were recorded on Sept 17, involving a 90-year-old man from Sri Aman, and a man and a woman from Sibu aged 60 and 70 respectively.
Another death was recorded in Sibu on Sept 18, involving a man aged 49 years.
Meanwhile on Monday (Sept 20), three deaths were recorded involving a man and a woman from Sarikei aged 69 and 54 respectively, and an 84-year-old man from Sibu.
Six fatalities were recorded on Sept 21, involving two women aged 73 and 63 and a man, aged 72 in Miri; a 59-year-old man from Sibu; a 25-year-old woman in Sarikei and a woman aged 73 in Kuching.
The two recent Covid-19 deaths were recorded on Sept 22, both involving women from Kuching, aged 44 and 72 respectively.
The committee said in a statement today (Sept 23) that all death cases had a history of comorbidities.
