State’s CMCO, EMCO continue until May

KUCHING: The conditional movement control order (CMCO) in Sarawak has been extended until 11.59pm on May 10.

Sarawak Disaster Management Committee (SDMC) said this is the latest decision taken after assessing the positive cases whose number is still high.

“Therefore, SDMC has decided to extend the CMCO to 11.59pm on May 10 starting at 12.01am on April 27,” it said today.

The current CMCO which was enforced since April 13 will expire on April 26.

As for the enhanced movement control order (EMCO), it is extended at Rumah Mut, Nanga Maong, Sungai Mujok in Julau (April 19 to May 2); Rumah Robert, Ulu Paoh in Sarikei (April 21 to May 4); Rumah Jawa, Sungai Kerubong Selalang in Sarikei (April 22 to May 5); and Form Six College, Saratok in Betong Division (April 23 to May 6); Sungai Kawi in Sarikei (April 23 to May 6); Rumah Jugah, Sungai Bulat in Sarikei (April 24 to 30); Kampung Darul Falah, Sungai Gemuan, Bintangor, Sarikei (April 24 to May 7); Jalan Bukut Balingian longhouse in Mukah (April 25 to May 8); and Mukah Polytechnic (April 25 to May 6).
