KUCHING: The Sarawak Trade and Tourism Office (STATOS) is offering opportunities for investors from Singapore to invest in the state.

Its chairman Tan Sri Datuk Amar Morshidi Abdul Ghani said that tourism and trade are areas that can catch the interest of investors.

“We have lots of opportunities in Sarawak for them to invest in, especially in farming. This way, products made in Sarawak can be sent to Singapore,” he said after paying a courtesy call to Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg at Wisma Bapa Malaysia today (August 15).

Also present were STATOS CEO Chew Chang Guan and Development Bank of Sarawak (DBOS) CEO Datuk Laura Lee Ngien Hion.
