KUCHING: Tasik Biru assemblyman Datuk Henry Harry Jinep yesterday (Oct 11) advised everyone to stay safe and follow the standard operating procedures (SOPs) in order to keep not only themselves but also others, particularly their family members, healthy.

He was commenting on the resumption of interstate travel effective yesterday.

Earlier, in line with the federal government’s announcement, the Sarawak Disaster Management Committee (SDMC) agreed to allow those who were fully vaccinated to travel across the state without having to apply for police permit starting Monday.

However, individuals wishing to enter Sarawak still need to apply for permission on the EnterSarawak website; show proof of their ‘fully vaccinated’ status; show their negative RT-PCR or antigen results from a health clinic or a health laboratory (valid for 3 days only) as well as other relevant personal information.
