KUCHING: A dolphin was found lying on the beach at Kampung Trombol at Telaga Air here yesterday.
Personnel from the Petra Jaya Fire and Rescue station who were deployed to the scene at 1.45pm found the mammal measuring 1.3 metres still alive.
The firefighters managed to carry the dolphin into deep water before releasing it.
The stranded dolphin was successfully released at 3.10pm.
