Strategic partnership to push Sarawak to become esports powerhouse

KUCHING: The Sarawak Esports Association (SESA) has forged a strategic multi-year partnership with leading esports technology company FITGMR, Inc.  to revolutionise Sarawak’s esports landscape.

The collaboration, resonating with local identity, aims to champion healthy gaming principles and leverage FITGMR’s expertise.

SESA president Afiq Fadhli Narawi highlighted the collaboration’s significance, framing it as a pivotal moment in Sarawak’s journey towards becoming an esports powerhouse.

“The synergy between FITGMR’s cutting-edge curriculum and technologies and SESA’s localised insights forms a dynamic framework aligning with the Sarawak government’s vision for technological advancement and youth development,” he said in a statement.

Meanwhile, CEO of FITGMR  Kristin Anderson was excited  about collaborating with SESA to bring positive changes to the Sarawak esports community.

“Together, we envision a future where esports in Sarawak thrives, guided by principles of healthy gaming and enriched by cutting-edge training and technology,” he noted.

SESA, as the catalyst for change, ensures the integration of FITGMR’s global expertise tailored to Sarawak’s esports community.

It added that the effective localisation of FITGMR’s mobile performance training app reflects a commitment to technological empowerment and aligns with the Sarawak government’s goals.
