KUCHING: A male student was killed in a three-vehicle accident along Jalan Demak today.

Kuching district police chief ACP Ahsmon Bajah when contacted by New Sarawak Tribune, confirmed that the accident happened around 2.25pm.

Investigations found that the fatal accident involved three vehicles, namely two cars and a motorcycle, believed to be heading straight towards Mydin Hypermarket.

“The victim who was riding his motorcycle alone, is believed to have rear ended a car in front of him before he crashed and was hit by another car.

“As a result, the 15-year-old victim was pronounced dead at the scene and his body was taken to the hospital for further action,” he said.

Ahsmon said the case is being investigated under Section 41(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987.
