MIRI: A secondary school student was injured after the motorcycle he was riding was involved in an accident at Canada Hill Road here yesterday.
In the incident that occurred at around 1.30pm, the victim was heading towards Kampung Haji Wahed from the city centre.
The victim was negotiating a road bend when his motorcycle collided with a car travelling on the opposite lane.
“Following the accident, the victim sustained bodily injuries. An ambulance was called to the scene and he was sent to Miri Hospital for treatment,” sources said, adding that the car driver was uninjured in the incident.
