MUKAH: Some 13 Kolej Vocational Bintulu (KVB) staff and students gained valuable knowledge and experience during their educational visit to Politeknik Mukah (PMU) here recently.

The delegation, comprising seven lecturers and six final year students, was led by the college’s Business Management Department head Faiz Mustapha.

Soon after their arrival, the visitors were briefed by PMU director Dullah Muluk before they proceeded to PMU’s Commerce Department.

KVB Business Management Department lecturer, Siti Rossikin Sahari said the visit was aimed at giving exposure to the students on matters pertaining to benchmark, in relation to managing and completing their course project before entering the job market.

“It is also aimed to assist them in obtaining the Malaysian Quality Accreditation (MQA), beside serving as an exchange of ideas and sharing of facilities related to the students’ course project and industrial training,” she said.

She added it also helped to foster cooperation while sharing the expertise and knowledge in research and other relevant areas for the benefit of both parties.
