MUKAH: Students here expressed their delight to finally receive the Covid-19 vaccine as the vaccination programme for teenagers aged 18 and below kicked off.
“Hopefully, with us being vaccinated, we will be able to go back to school to study and meet up with friends,” said SMK Mukah student Fabian, when met by Information Department (JaPen) at the Dewan Suarah Mesra vaccination centre (PPV).
Another student, 17-year-old Farradiva, from the same school also expressed her joy at being vaccinated because “it will allow us to go outside.”
Some 1,243 students from several secondary schools here are be expected to receive their first dose during the three-day campaign.
