KUCHING: The State Library in Sibu will be holding a motivational talk titled ‘Belajar Dari Rumah: Persediaan Normal Baharu’ (Learning from Home: Preparation for the New Normal) live via their official Facebook page (@pustaka.sarawak).

The talk will be streamed live on Monday (May 18) at 2.30pm, delivered by Ahmad Faizal Osman, also known as Cikgu Emmet. He is a teacher, writer, and motivation expert.

School students, especially those in secondary school, are encouraged to join attend the talk.

“The current Covid-19 pandemic will make all occupations or tasks as well as life transform into a new norm,” said the State Library in a statement yesterday.

They said that social communication today had to comply with guidelines set by the authorities, such as social distancing, to cut the chain of Covid-19 transmission.

“Learning without a teacher right in front, or in other words learning from home online, may be a new experience for students. Issues may arise, but this is the reality which has to be met,” they said.
