MIRI: Sarawak United National Youth (Saberkas) Bekenu will host Subis powerboat race water sport 2023 on Dec 9 and 10 this year.
Deputy Minister for Women, Early Childhood, and Community Wellbeing Development Datuk Rosey Yunus cum Bekenu assemblywoman disclosed this during a press conference held at her constituency service centre on Tuesday.
The event will be divided into various categories namely pump boat 7.5 horsepower (hp), speed boat 5hp, long boat 15hp and 18hp, tunnel boat 15hp, 18hp and 30hp (2 piston race and 3 piston race ).
“The organising committee (Saberkas) has yet to set the value of the cash prizes, which will be determined at the next meeting,” she said.
