KUCHING: Sarawak United FC (SUFC) head coach B. Sathianathan is confident in his squad’s ability to shock Super League giants JDT in the second round match of the FA Cup at Stadium Sultan Ibrahim in Iskandar Puteri today.

SUFC go into today’s game still boosted by the 2-1 win over Sri Pahang FC in the Super League on Wednesday.

“A heavy task awaits us tomorrow night. However, I want to remind the players to perform well throughout the competition,” Sathia told Arena Suara Sarawak yesterday.

“Avoid making mistakes and be quick to take advantage of goal opportunities.

“If they do this, there’s every chance we can spring a surprise,” said the former national team coach.

Sathia is expected to make minor changes to the starting line-up as “some players have not recovered from injuries picked up in the match against Sri Pahang.”
