KUCHING: In the time of Advent, it is normal for Sarawakians to spread the joy of Christmas by being caring and performing acts of kindness for the less fortunate in hopes of bringing in some Christmas cheer.
Led by Local Government and Housing Minister Datuk Dr Sim Kui Hian yesterday, a team from Sarawak United Peoples’ Party (SUPP) from the Batu Kawa branch set off to deliver various goods to 10 families in several parts of the Batu Kawa constituency.
Dr Sim, who is also assemblyman for Batu Kawa, delivered two wheelchairs to the needy as part of their effort to help lessen the burden of the poor.
