KUCHING: The Sarawak United People’s Party (SUPP) Batu Kawah Mobile Service Centre is likely to be reactivated.
Batu Kawah assemblyman Datuk Seri Dr Sim Kui Hian said that he was looking to continue operating his mobile service with his team.
“Will continue to assess Covid-19 risk to everyone as like to restart my weekly mobile service at a coffee shop with my team which was forced to stop due to Covid-19,” he said in a Facebook post on Saturday (Jan 9).
Earlier, Dr Sim, who is also the Deputy Chief Minister, had the opportunity to meet the locals when having breakfast at a local coffee shop in Batu Kawah
“Continue my weekly tradition whether election or not neither deputy chief minister or not,” he said.
He added that he was glad that he could meet his supporters.
“I’m happy to see my supporters coming to say hello, discuss issues, or request for assistance.
“At the same time they also know the new way of greetings by giving a fist bump rather than giving a handshake,” said Dr Sim.
