BINTULU: Sarawak United People’s Party (SUPP) secretary-general Datuk Sebastian Ting said members should enhance unity and cooperation to play their role in developing the state.

“In this regard, I believe that we are in the mainstream. Let us develop our new economy, digital economy and green economy together.

“Let us bring not only Sarawak but also Bintulu towards glorious development,” he said at the 60th Anniversary celebration of SUPP Bintulu Branch today.

He also congratulated Tanjong Batu assemblyman Johnny Pang on his success in recapturing the state seat from the opposition in the last state election.

Ting believed that in the next five years, Pang and his team will make a lot of contributions to the people in the constituency.

“The future of Sarawak needs the cooperation of everyone and I am confident that Pang and his team will be able to work together to realise the aspirations of a more developed Sarawak by 2030.”

Ting also expressed his appreciation to the voters including the Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS) component parties  for the success in wresting the Tanjong Batu seat.
