BELADIN: Beting Maro assemblyman Razaili Gapor has urged the community here to support the Gabungan Parti Sarawak government’s effort in developing rural areas.

He explained that strong support for the top leadership of the state and the government can lead to more development.

“What we are enjoying today is the effort of the government, starting from basic infrastructure facilities, physical development in the area as well as efforts to develop our economy to move towards a developed nation.

“I believe and am confident that under the leadership of Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg, there will be various other forms of development that we will enjoy in the future.

“The support is important and I am fully confident and believe we at Beting Maro are indeed expecting more than that.

“The support given to the top leadership of the state and the government should always be strong,” he said after inspecting the road to be repaired in Kampung Hulu Beladin, yesterday.

He explained that the road repair project in Kampung Hulu Beladin amounting to RM350,000 is now waiting to be implemented.

“The repair of the 500-meter road involves the construction of ditches in two lanes and paving up to the main road upstream.

“I really hope it can be expedited, so that it can be used before Aidilfitri,” he said, adding that for the second phase, the repairs will involve the same road downstream to the constituency’s Service Center Office.
