Surau receives grant from PBB Satok

KUCHING: Surau Darul Uyun of Kampung No.3, Satok has received a grant from Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB) Satok earlier this week.

The grant was intended to help the surau committee members to conduct activities with the local constituents to enliven the religious house.

On hand to present the grants to the representative of Surau Darul Uyun on Tuesday was PBB Satok deputy chairman Datuk Ibrahim Baki.

The ceremony was held under stringent standard operating procedures (SOPs) and with limited participants in view of the current recovery movement control order (RMCO).

Also present during the short ceremony were PBB Satok vice chief Helmi Othman, political secretary to the chief minister Abdul Samat Gany and community leader Rosli Sahari.
