BALINGIAN: Suyang won a Chinese New Year’s Open Takraw competition 2020 after beating Nova SOP at UN Homecoming Youth Court.
Organised by UN Youth AssemblyTemesu Branch and JKKK Bada Longhouse, the prizes were given away by ADUN Abdul Jacob Arbi. Speaking at the function Jacob congratulated the organisers for their hard work.
He also said besides helping the participants to keep fit, the tournament helps to bring the people of various races and religions together to get to know the culture of each other better.
He added that besides relaxing the program could also foster closer friendships in sports.
