Sarawak’s second bronze was won by the Boys Under 15 which comprised Liu You Wei, Hanson Lim and Adam Aiman in the team event.

Cindy Lim also won the Under 13 Girls best archer award in the tournament.

Yee extended his thank to USPTN Sarawak person-in-charge, Awang and Ikmal for their support and trust in him to train and lead the Miri team to achieve the results in less than a month.

He commended the archers for their high level performance during the competition and making a name for Sarawak.

“The competition are a great way for archers and coaches to gain experience and continue to improve themselves.

“Good sportsmanship promotes a positive attitude as opposed to negative attitudes such as giving excuses for poor performance or blaming others for their loss.

“To all archers out there, there are no shortcuts to success. Have the courage to accept challenges and continue to strive for self-improvement,” he said.
