KUCHING: Swift action by Sarawak Forestry Corporation (SFC) staff managed to put out a fire in their server room at Jalan Sungai Tapang, Kota Sentosa here today (Jan 26).
A team of firefighters from Tabuan Jaya Fire and Rescue Station were despatched to the scene after a distress call on the incident was received at 10.20am.
Upon arrival, the team found that the fire only involved a computer monitor, a monitor cable and parts of the extension cord, and it was doused by the staff using a dry powder extinguisher.
No structure damage or injury was reported in the fire.
