SIBU: Sarawak Workers Party (SWP) has expressed its disappointment with the 2019 Budget.
SWP President, Munan Laja, in his press statement, said that nothing were mentioned specifically for the Dayaks in Sarawak..

“There is also nothing about the survey of Native Custonary Rights (NCR) land and the transformation of rural Dayak communities in Sarawak,” he said.

According to him, the Indians were given an allocation of RM100 million to support the Indian community for technical and skill training.

“ RM100 million was allocated to the Orang Asli to empower their development in Peninsular Malaysia,” said Munan.

He said SWP was upset that the biggest community in Sarawak was left out.
