KUCHING: Tabung Baitulmal Sarawak (TBS) has contributed 500 packages of Meal-Ready-to-Eat (MRE) to i-CATS University College’s students from low-income families.

Zainalabidin Abd Rahim and Mohammed Nor Firdaus Nawawi, representing TBS, presented the MREs to selected students recently, reflecting its commitment to support the students in their pursuit of education, as envisioned by its director, Datuk Abang Mohd Shibli Abang Mohd Nailie.

The collaboration between TBS and i-CATS University College, supported by vice-chancellor Prof Dr Shahren Ahmad Zaidi Adruce, is a testament to their shared vision of ensuring that students do not face any obstacles due to financial constraints.

This initiative aims to alleviate the students’ financial burdens, allowing them to concentrate on their studies without worrying about their next meal.

As these MREs reach the deserving students, it underscores the significance of community support and the power of institutions working together to create an environment where every student can thrive in their academic journey.
