KUCHING: Sarawakians have been urged to take this Covid-19 pandemic seriously.
Senior Minister (Works) Datuk Seri Fadillah Yusof said if the people don’t take it seriously, it will badly impact the economy.
“Our lives and livelihoods will be affected, such as our daily income.
“We do not want the people to go through this. So I hope everyone will cooperate in this battle against Covid-19,” he said in a Facebook post on Sunday (July 26).
He added that decisions made today will shape the country’s outcome tomorrow.
“Also, as cases in Kuching and Samarahan districts are spiking, I hoped that fellow Sarawakians are doing their best to avoid crowded places and practise the highest level of hygienic lifestyle.
“Please don’t forget to wash your hands frequently for at least 20 seconds,” he reminded.
