KUCHING: The road at the intersection of Jalan Kuching-Bau and Jalan Stephen Yong traffic lights (in front of the Kampung Bumbok Hawker Centre) will be closed from March 10 to 25.
According to statement by the Kuching Division Public Works Department (JKR), the closure and change of route will start at 7pm and last till 6am.
“The temporary closure is due to work repairs for the road surface that will be carried out during the period.
“Therefore, road users are urged to drive carefully while driving along the route and comply with traffic rules for safety,” the Department’s said today.
Road users are also advised to plan their journey along the affected areas.
“Road users should use suitable alternative routes until repair works are completed,” the department said.
