SRI AMAN: A primary school teacher was found dead from an apparent suicide at her residence at Taman Mutiara, Jalan Brayun-Sri Aman last Monday (May 24).
According to sources, the woman’s body found hanging from the grille of the main door around 3 pm.
It was understood that the victim had a misunderstanding with her boyfriend prior to the incident.
When contacted today (May 25), Sarawak Police Commissioner Datuk Aidi Ismail disclosed that there were no signs of foul play at the scene.
“The body was taken to Sri Aman Hospital for Covid-19 screening test before post mortem was performed.
“The case is classified as sudden death and is still under investigation,” he told.
