KUCHING: The role of Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS), in striving for the return of Sarawak’s rights that were eroded, needs to always be widely made known among the people.

Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB) vice-president Datuk Dr Abdul Rahman Junaidi said it is the responsibility of all leaders in his party to be aggressive in promoting GPS to get the support of citizens.

According to him, the establishment of GPS was at a perfect time to ensure that every decision could be made without depending on other parties.

Dr Abdul Rahman, who is also Rural Electricity Assistant Minister, stated that every PBB leader should know the current structure of the state government.

The Pantai Damai assemblyman explained that this is important so that every policy introduced by the state government is known to the public.

He said this at “Randau GPS for Pantai Damai Constituency” held by PBB N.4 Pantai Damai in Bandar Baru Semariang last Sunday.
