MUKAH: Tellian assemblyman Yussibnosh Balo hopes that the Community On The Go (COTG) programme will have a positive impact on those involved.

He said RM10,000 had been allocated to implement the programme.

According to him, the money was entrusted to Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB) Tellian Youth to enable the implementation of five projects planned by them.

“If the impact is good, the allocation can be given again to implement the next programme,” he told New Sarawak Tribune via WhatsApp on Monday (Oct 19).

He added that the allocation for each project was RM2,000 and below, including food expenses for those involved.

Four COTG programmes had been implemented so far, the first one was at Kampung Kuala Lama, followed by Kampung Petanak, Kampung Penat and at Kampung Judan last Saturday (Oct 17).

The scope of the project was to assist in repairing and improving the important part of the house or building, whose owner had been previously identified and could not afford to do it.
