MUKAH: Tellian assemblyman Royston Valentine handed out grants to two associations here.
Royston gave a grant of RM5,000 to Lions Club Mukah, which was represented by Penghulu Henry Lee Liong Ing, at the Foo Chow Mukah Association building.
Lions Club Mukah is very active in carrying out charity activities here and Royston had always welcomed community-based activities by clubs and associations in Mukah.
He also handed over a grant of RM3,000 to Melanau Balingian Generation Association, represented by deputy president Hafizzul Abdul Halim, for its activities.
Royston hoped that clubs and associations would use the grants wisely for the benefit of communities.
