MUKAH: Tellian assemblyman Yussibnosh Balo yesterday took time off work to visit patients at Mukah Hospital here.
The visit was organised by Mukah Division Majlis Kebajikan Dan Sukan Anggota-Anggota Kerajaan Malaysia (Maksak) in conjunction with the upcoming Chinese New Year celebration.
Present to welcome Yussibnosh was Mukah Hospital director Dr Nadhira Abu Hassan and her staff.
During the visit, the assemblyman also distributed goodies to 40 recipients.
Earlier, Yussibnosh officiated at a state-level road safety campaign at Jalan Boulevard here.
The visit was part of Maksak’s annual activities which among others, aimed at fostering closer rapport with the public.
Mukah Resident and Maksak chairman Hamdiah Bakir, Dalat and Mukah District Council walikota Kadir Jamil, Mukah district officer Shafrie Saili and Temenggong Hendi Suhai also attended the event.
