KUCHING: The setting up of a temporary clinic in Kampung Bungey, Debak, which is currently under the enhanced movement control order (EMCO) until May 18, was proposed.
Saribas assemblyman Mohammad Razi Sitam said the temporary clinic will make it easier for the residents to get health services without the need for them to leave the village.
“The clinic would provide a nurse and a medical assistant to help them obtain immediate treatment,” he said recently.
Earlier, he visited Kampung Bungey to monitor the distribution of food aid to the people.
He added that the assistance was to help ease the burden of the villagers.
The assemblyman reminded the residents of Kampung Debak and Kampung Bungey to be vigilant at all times.
“Always adhere to the standard operating procedures set by the state government to prevent Covid-19 transmissions,” he said.
