KUCHING: The Kuching-Samarahan Expressway (from Samajaya Hightech Industrial Park roundabout towards Sungai Kuap bridge) will be closed temporarily for maintenance and resurfacing work.
The Sarawak Public Works Department (JKR) issued a statement on Dec 2, adding that the work starts from Dec 3 until Dec 10.
It added that the maintenance work will be in shifts, where shift A starts from 9am to 4pm and shift B from 9pm to 4am.
“Road users are asked to exercise caution when driving on the road while the resurfacing work is ongoing.
“Do comply with all traffic rules and management for safety until the completion of the works on the road,” it advised.
JKR Sarawak will inform from time to time if there are any changes involving the works, and road users are also advised to plan their journey carefully.
