The North Face and Raeburn have designed a capsule collection of eco-friendly bags made from recycled tents.

Outdoor specialist The North Face has teamed up with British designer Christopher Raeburn to create a collection of eco-friendly accessories. Available in a limited edition, they can be found in stores and online.

Using products that can no longer be used in order to create new ones, thus reducing waste and its environmental footprint, were the values that brought together Raeburn and The North Face this spring 2019. The two brands rallied their skills to design a collection of handmade eco-friendly accessories made from recycled equipment.

The North Face and Raeburn used scrap material from old tents to design three different bags available in bright colors, dominated by yellow: a tote bag, a drawstring bag, and the Rae bag. The three items feature the bright color along with the now-ubiquitous Raeburn slogan: “Remade, Reduced, Recycled, Raeburn.”

The collection of bags “Raemade from old tents” is now on sale in limited edition from prices between US$100 to US$170 depending on the model chosen. – Relaxnews
