Third day of 19th DUN sitting

THE third day of the 19th State Legislative Assembly (DUN) sitting commenced today with elected representatives from across the state converging on the DUN complex.

The sitting began with a prayer at 9:11am in the DUN chambers.

DUN Speaker Datuk Amar Tan Sri Mohamad Asfia Awang Nassar said that leave of absence was granted to Dudong assemblyman Datuk Seri Tiong King Sii and Telang Usan assemblyman Dennis Ngau.

The sitting was then followed by the question-and-answer sessions by the members of august House to the respective ministries.

Deputy Premier Datuk Amar Awang Tengah Ali Hasan, who is also the Second Minister of Natural Resources and Urban Development is expected to table the Forests (Amendment) Bill 2022.
