MIRI: A young housewife and her two friends were assaulted by a man armed with a knife at her home in Krokop here at midnight on Friday.
The two male friends of the housewife suffered injuries after being punched by the suspect.
Fearing for her safety following the assault, the housewife lodged a police report.
According to sources, the complainant knew the suspect.
Sources added that the suspect had also destroyed several belongings inside the house.
Police are investigating the case.
