KUCHING: Three vehicles parked outside of a house caught fire yesterday morning.
The incident happened around 3.10am at Lorong 4, Jalan Kuching City Mall.
Upon receiving a distress call on the incident, a team of 11 firefighters from Batu Lintang fire station led by PBK II Jemiran rushed to the scene. They managed to control the fire from spreading to the house or nearest vehicle.
However, the three vehicles ―a Perodua Myvi, a Toyota Vios and a Mitsubishi Triton ―were 100 percent burnt in the fire.
The team managed to save a Toyota Hilux parked in the car porch. It had small damages at the back of the vehicle due to the fire. No casualties were reported and the cause of fire is still under investigation.
