Three-day KKSKKK programme a success

BALAI RINGIN: The closing ceremony for the Youth Transformation programme, Kawan Ku Sayang, Keluarga Ku Kenang (KKSKKK) was graced by Assistant Minister of Youth and Sports, Datuk Snowdan Lawan and wife, Datin Melinda Claudia Bucking.

200 people were present at the programme which was held from April 20 to 22 at SMK Balai Ringin, Serian.

The programme was organised by the Ministry of Tourism, Arts, Culture, Youth and Sports in cooperation with Saberkas Sarawak. It aims to help elevate own identity, understand the love between friends and family, as well as instil a sense of unity and teamwork among youth.

Activities conducted during the programme include a Youth Session with Lawan, group activities and workshops.

During the ceremony, Sarawak Badan Amal Tenaga Isteri-isteri (SABATI) representative, Bucking handed over equipments to Balai Ringin, Kesindu and Pantu Health Clinics.

Also present were Ministry of Tourism, Arts, Culture, Youth and Sports Permanent Secretary, Hii Chang Kee, heads of departments and community leaders.
